Please review the Meeting Notice for more information. The Draft Rule and Sample Disclosure are now available! The Administrator would like any written or oral feedback on the draft rule, sample form, or any additional ISA-related topics relevant to this proposed rulemaking by close of business on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Student Loan Servicers Act

The Student Loan Servicers Act (SLSA) is a state law that regulates companies that service student loans owed by Colorado residents.

The Colorado Attorney General’s Office, through the Administrator of the Colorado Student Loan Servicers Act, investigates complaints about student loan servicers and takes appropriate disciplinary or legal action when a servicer has violated the law. This office cannot give legal advice nor can we represent individual consumers in actions against student loan servicers.

Pursuant to section 5-20-204(2)(a), C.R.S., the Administrator shall submit a report by January 1 of each year to the committees of reference of the General Assembly having jurisdiction over education, insurance, and financial services matters.
