Attorney General Phil Weiser announces first meeting of No-Knock and Forced Entry Study Group

Sept. 7, 2021 (DENVER)—Attorney General Phil Weiser today announced that the formal convening and first meeting of the No-Knock and Forced Entry Study Group will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, via Zoom.

The study group was established by House Bill 21-1250, C.R.S. § 24-31-114, to study and survey the use of no-knock entry warrants and forced entry by law enforcement personnel and develop recommendations for potential legislation.

This release serves as the official public notice for the Sept. 10, 2021, study group meeting in compliance with the Colorado Open Meetings Law, C.R.S. §§ 24-6-401, 402.
