Attorney General’s Office releases special master’s report on sex abuse of minors by Catholic priests

Oct. 24, 2019 (DENVER, Colo.)–The Colorado Attorney General’s Office has released the special master’s report “Roman Catholic Clergy Sexual Abuse of Children in Colorado from 1950 to 2019”. The report can be found here. WARNING: This report contains graphic and disturbing account of the sexual abuse of children.

The Attorney General encourages anyone impacted by abuse from a Catholic priest, or anyone at a nonprofit organization, including clergy, counselors or others in a position of trust, to submit a report by calling 720-508-6003 or going here.

Additionally, the three Dioceses in Colorado are funding an independent program that will compensate victims of abuse, regardless of when the abuse occurred. Survivors can file a claim by calling 833-521-0015 or going to www.ColoradoDiocesesIRRP.com.
