The Colorado Attorney General wants to hear from you. Medicaid fraud takes money away from those who need it. Please report Medicaid fraud being committed by providers against Colorado Medicaid. This can include billing for services not rendered, billing for unnecessary services, and exaggerating (upcoding) the services or products provided.
The Attorney General does not investigate recipient fraud, such as false statements to obtain Medicaid coverage or services, and loaning or borrowing eligibility cards. Recipient fraud should be reported to the county department of human services or to the district attorney’s office for the county involved. Click here to locate your district attorney’s office.
