Debt Management: Registration

2022-2023 Debt-Management Renewal and Annual Report now Available

Please note: The Renewal and Annual Report to be submitted online, via the Licensing Community portal!

The 2022-2023 Debt-Management Renewal (for currently registered providers) is now available, via the Licensing Community portal. The renewal must be submitted electronically, via the Licensing Community portal. The General Mailings contact for each provider should receive an email (from the Office of the Attorney General), allowing them to setup an account.

The 2022-2023 Debt-Management Renewal Application and Annual Report are available for download, via the Licensing Community portal. Please refer to the Instructions in conjunction with completing the 2022-2023 Debt-Management Renewal and Annual Report. Once complete, follow the instructions within the portal to upload the 2022-2023 Debt-Management Renewal Application and Annual Report and any supporting documents.

If you fail to submit a completed renewal application by July1st, your registration will automatically expire pursuant to § 5-19-211(f), C.R.S.


Any person or organization that provides, offers to provide, or agrees to provide Debt-Management services directly or through others must register as a Debt-Management Services Provider. This includes, but is not limited to, Consumer Credit Counseling agencies, Debt Settlement agencies, telemarketing or marketing companies advertising as Credit Counseling or Debt Settlement agencies. The initial application for a debt-management provider registration, and related forms are available below:
